Scott W. LeCompte, Principal, Sales and Operations

Mr. LeCompte joined Blackburn Group in 2009 as a Principal of Sales and Operations. Prior to joining Blackburn Group, he held senior level claims management positions at Xchanging/Cambridge Integrated Services Group as a Senior Claims Adjuster. While there, he consistently met and exceeded the organization’s benchmarked customer compliance. He also contributed to the reduction of customer’s new losses by 50% during a one year period, and 65% reduction during a two year period.

Mr. LeCompte has held several managerial positions in Enterprise Risk and Claim Management. One of his significant accomplishments at Gates McDonald, a subsidiary of Nationwide Insurance Enterprise, was saving his clients a total of $2.8 million dollars over a three year period. During his tenure, he was also able to secure several Medicare Set-Aside approvals that resulted in minimum findings on settlements of $100,000 and greater. At Gates, he also received numerous service awards and accolades for excellence in client satisfaction and team dedication. While at Accustaff, Randstad, North America a nationally recognized staffing firm, he increased branch office profits by 25%, and reduced operating costs by 10%. Additionally, he managed the Enterprise Risk Management claim reporting and developed safety programs that reduced claims costs over a two year period by 30%. He has held several managerial positions with national retail companies where he developed and managed staffs of sales representatives, and conducted loss prevention, fraud prevention, and safety program audits. The audits resulted in increasing the individual stores net operating income by 28% each year.
