“I wanted to build a system that would enable Risk Managers to capture information about their exposures and provide them with a web-based method for coordinating multiple locations. The reason for this preamble is that I’m glad I lost the vote to develop a system for the Carrier/Agent relationship because I have now seen the embodiment of my idea in RiskPro.

 

What Robert has created is infinitely better than we could ever have come up with. While our development would have included lots of technical bells and whistles, we could never have incorporated such rich business value as he has achieved. It is the obvious understanding of a Risk Manager’s issues that come through upon looking at the system. It places enormous power in the hands of the Risk Manager and will be warmly welcomed by major Carriers who are constantly looking for ways to get direct relationships with their customers. Also, the hard market facing the industry means that insurers are demanding more and more information about the risks they are being asked to quote and in many instances, if the information is missing they are withholding capacity.
