Obama Administration Delays Healthcare Law Employer Mandates

On July 2, 2103 the Obama Administration Announced a Delay in Enforcing ACA Employer Mandates.

The Obama administration indicated in a Treasury Department blog that it would delay the enforcement of the deadline for large employers to provide coverage for workers or pay a penalty in 2014. This is very good news for advocates from small businesses in the restaurant, retail, and agriculture industries. Most large companies in the U.S. already provide health coverage to their employees, and would not be affected by the decision.
